Vince McMan celebrates the 1000 SmackDown show

WWE officially announced SmackDown's episode 1,000 on Tuesday, October 16th at Capital One in Washington, DC. Tickets will be available for sale next Friday in preparation for the celebration. The official WWE website has posted a festive statement for the event, below is the official Smackdown 1000 announcement with Chairman Vince McManan commenting:

The historic 1000th episode of the SmackDown Show will be held in one of the major halls in Washington DC on Tuesday 16 October 2018. Tickets will be available from next Friday, August 17. SmackDown is the first-ever air show since 1999, the second-longest weekly TV show in US history, counting the ROW program only. SmackDown is currently among the programs that are regularly viewed weekly.
